Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Programme is a Programme of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research funded by the European Union.
The overall objective of RDI Programme is to further support the Egyptian government's efforts to enhance research, development and innovation performance facilitating Egypt's move towards a knowledge-based economy by:

• fostering the Science and Innovation culture and environment/li>
• expanding research collaboration between the R&D and business sectors/li>
• enhancing the impact of Egyptian researchers' participation in EU funded programmes/li>
• advancing Egypt's scientific and technological capacity through supporting Centres of Excellence/li>
